Learning Designer – Arabic-Speaking Consultant

Role Summary
The Learning Designer will lead the design and contextualization of educational media content across three medical specialties. They will translate learning objectives into effective, accessible learning experiences tailored to Syrian healthcare trainees. This role ensures that all video training materials are pedagogy-informed and culturally relevant.

Key Responsibilities
Work with clinical experts to define learning objectives and priorities.

Design storyboards, scripts, and content structures for MAF-led video training modules.

Embed gender equity, inclusion, and adult learning principles in all materials.

Review media outputs for instructional quality and clarity.

Support evaluation planning for learning retention and engagement.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional/learning design, ideally in health or humanitarian settings.

Fluent Arabic (written and spoken); strong English proficiency.

Experience designing for blended or digital learning platforms.

Knowledge of Syrian health systems or the medical education context is highly desirable.
