Our content typically ranges from 6–18 minutes in length and is crafted with precision storytelling techniques designed for strong audience retention metrics. Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable video editor experienced with creating engaging YouTube documentary-style content.

Responsibilities:

Organize and sync video assets
Develop highly organized a-roll and b-roll “stringouts” / ”selects sequences” to enable a smooth collaborative workflow between our team of editors at various stages of the projects
Edit documentary-style videos in collaboration with other editors (sending project files back and forth remotely)
Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience editing fast-paced documentary / educational video content
Familiarity with YouTube retention strategies, pacing, and storytelling styles
Ability to work independently, integrate feedback, and deliver on schedule
Must live in the Continental United States (to allow for fast mailing of hard drives)
Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of ecology, farming, land restoration, and/or permaculture
Motion graphics skills
Color grading and sound engineering skills
Compensation:

$65-80/hr based on experience. Contract / per-project basis.
