Job Description
Purdue University's Teaching and Learning Technologies is a catalyst in changing the way students learn and engage with online courses. As a highly skilled video editor in our fast-paced team, you will play a strategic role in collaborating on a multidisciplinary team with faculty and instructional designers to create compelling video and multimedia for online courses. You will accomplish this with the skills necessary to take a course from the faculty's conception, through production of filming and editing, to final delivery for a variety of course types and audiences including credit and non-credit courses, MOOCs, social media, events and promotional purposes. A key component of this role is an ability to independently make decisions and manage relationships within a higher education context. Ideally, this candidate will have an intuitive sense of modern design, creativity, attention to detail, and a passion to continually learn new things.

• The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience video editing. In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.

Other key qualifications include:

• Experience filming and editing green screen footage.
• Experience with creative software (Creative Cloud or equivalent).
• Knowledge of post-production video editing for instructional and/or promotional use.
