Job Description
The Public Relations Manager assists the Global Director of PR in providing strategic Public Relations guidance for global touring shows; manages the day-to-day needs of the touring units, the Event Marketing & Sales team, and licensor partners; oversees all public relations activity in local markets.

Essential Job Functions
  • Work with the Global PR Director to develop the overall public relations campaigns for new touring shows and adjust campaigns as needed for returning shows.
  • Manage direct reports and provide direction and guidance on a daily basis.
  • Assist in coordinating the overall Public Relations efforts for touring shows. •Oversee planning and execution of events and publicity for local engagements.
  • Lead team in providing Regional PR Directors with tools to most effectively promote shows.
  • Create, manage and approve assets.
  • Pitch U.S. National and International media for shows, and coordinate national publicity efforts for touring shows.
  • Maintain materials in the online press room and publicists’ resource site.
  • Coordinate publicity requests for executive and creative staff interviews.
  • Plan and coordinate media training sessions for performers and staff.
  • Liaison with National PR Agency.
  • Additional duties relevant to the position as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements
  • College degree required (PR, Journalism, Marketing or English major preferred.)
  • 5-7 years of public relations experience, with emphasis on creating and producing the components of a robust PR plan.
  • At least 2-3 years pitching and media relations experience.
  • Experience with online media and web-based PR tools a plus.
  • At least one year of supervising experience.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Extremely strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels within and outside Feld Entertainment. Strong interpersonal skills. Team orientation.
  • Solid event planning skills.
  • Ability to manage heavy workload, multiple projects simultaneously and be fiscally responsible to approved budget.
  • Levelheaded capacity to make sound judgments and lead under pressure.
  • Highly flexible and resourceful.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of time).
