Job Description
Job Title: Production Coordinator (Editorial) - Feature Animation
Reports To: Production Supervisor and Associate Producer

Position Summary:
Responsible for working with the Production Supervisor of their departmental area to effectively prioritize, organize, and coordinate the work flow of the production. To assist in day to day needs of the assigned departments. This is a CG feature animation currently in pre-production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·       Maintain overall production schedule and coordinate departmental deliverables as directed by their PS or AP.

·      Make suggestions for improvements to flow of information, and milestone realization.
·       Daily interaction with PS on production related needs and deliveries.
·       Scheduling calendars for department meetings and creative reviews.
·       Work with Technology support when appropriate
·       Take notes during dailies/team meetings; ensure they are delivered to artists in a timely manner.

·       Set up internal screenings/dailies
·       Responsible for all digital packages that may need to be sent to external vendors
·       Responsible for ensuring facilities are correctly booked and that prep time is sufficient.
·       Coordinator is responsible for communicating deadlines to Artists, and notifying PS or AP of any Artist issues
·       Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Education and Experience:
·       Bachelor’s (BA) degree from accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience
·       Experience working on animated feature projects, ideally experience with more than one production
·       Experience with pre-production departments preferred (Story/Editorial)
·       Ability to organize and coordinate individuals and teams, strong ability to multitask
·       Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
·       A team player who has an interest in creating a positive, and inspiring work environment
·       Highly organized and detail-oriented, yet adaptable to client and staff needs
·       Ability to prioritize and multi-task under stressful deadlines and situations
·       Solution Oriented and good problem solving capabilities
·       Able to follow directions well
