Job Description
The Maker’s Lab Studio located in Miami is hiring a motivated, versatile and detail-oriented associate post producer to integrate quickly and seamlessly with our post team.

To be successful here, you must be comfortable working in high pressure environments and assisting senior producers with projects beginning-to-end in our Multi-Room/Multi-Function Post Production Studio. In this role, you will use your skills to team with personnel and collaborate directly with clients.


Responsibilities:

• Assisting with managing availability and scheduling of all staff and equipment.
• Scheduling internal meetings.
• Tracking operator expenses and petty cash requirements for jobs.
• Tracking operator overtime.
• Processing operator invoices and payments.
• Assisting the Moving Image Producers with quotes billing and office support.
• Collaborate with Supervisor to ensure strict Workflow conventions are adhered to, while prepping assets for current projects.
• Liaising with the Studio Director and Post Supervisor to ensure consistently effective management.
• Issue & confirm operators are completing session sheets daily.
• Follow through to ensure maintenance issues are logged and actioned in Basecamp.
• Create templates within our scheduling software to streamline booking.
• Liaising with IT/tech support with a consistent follow through process to ensure that our facility is running on all cylinders: gear and operator issues must be communicated, actioned and resolved.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a post-producer and/or bookings manager role
• Understanding of the post production process & digital workflows including VFX, editing & grading.
• Must be self-motivated and extremely organized, with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be flexible with schedule to endure long hours to meet tight deadlines.
• Adept and Ninja like prowess manipulating Microsoft Office software
• Must be currently involved or familiar with at least 3 of the following crafts: Creative Editorial, Audio Production, Motion Graphics/VFX, Color and Finishing.
• Adept at quickly learning a new CRM, Production Management and/or Book Keeping software is a must.
• Basic knowledge or familiarity with using industry standard post software such as: NLE’s and Motion Graphic suites like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Pro Tools, Resolve, etc. OR hands-on session experience coordinating post artists who use these tools every day.
