Job Description
Instructor needed for course in GUI and Graphics programming on Tuesday evenings for the spring 2018 semester (beginning in January). The course will cover the principles of user interface design with a variety of topics including Shaders, Rendering, Transformations, Scene Modeling, Texture Mapping, User Interface & Interaction, Lighting & Illumination, Procedural Methods, Image Processing, Curves & Surfaces, 2D Rendering & Ray Tracing. The instructor should teach students designing and implementation of user interface, drawing of GUI using OpenGL.

The Course Learning Outcomes include: Ability to design and implement User Interface for a given application. Ability to describe method for drawing graphical user interface, ranging from lines, surfaces, shapes, and rendering using OpenGL. Ability to design and implement graphic display for a given application.

Bachelor Degree in a related field required. A Master's or higher degree is preferred with related industry experience.
Cogswell College uses online systems to keep track of students' academic records and it is mandatory for the faculty to keep those records up-to-date (this includes assignments, grading results, attendance).

Teach classes in Interactive Software Engineering and programming and hold regular office hours
Foster a positive environment for students and serve as an Advisor
Ensure curriculum and syllabi are up to date and all classes have relevant materials through program review
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
