Position Overview:

The Digital Delivery Coordinator position is responsible for constructing metadata files, compiling various digital media assets into a final package, and delivering files to various distributors as assigned. Specific tasks will include: downloading/retrieving customer provided metadata, editing XML, running scripts, and otherwise manipulating metadata to meet client specifications. This individual will also be responsible for performing a preliminary review of the incoming metadata to ensure accuracy with regards to client specs, as well as performing a final quality control check of digital packages prior to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform delivery of digital media files and packages using FTP, SFTP, Aspera (Console, Client an Faspex), iTunes Transporter, Signiant and other file transfer methodologies.
• Proficient in all aspects of iTunes delivery and metadata retrieval including XML creation, packaging and delivery as well as delivery troubleshooting and using the website
• Proficient in the creation, verification and delivery of Google/YouTube and Sony Digital Backbone files.
• Utilize tools for the manipulation and ingestion of Metadata into proprietary platforms
• Assemble complete digital media delivery packages (e.g. .itmsp, .zip, .tar)
• Transport metadata from provider’s format into required format (.xml, .xls, .csv) for delivery to customer
• Locate artwork/poster images from client approved websites
• Resize and optimize images using standard image editing programs (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Elements)
• Download files from various clients, then efficiently organize them to the SAN.
• Work along side all other departments to ensure files are delivered on time and correct.
• Input data into production tracking databases
• Follow data management procedures to ensure all team members can access accurate and timely information on element status, location and history.
• Perform additional tasks on an as-needed basis.

• Proficient communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Strong computer skills: knowledge of MAC OS and PC
• intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word software
• Knowledge of XML reading and building
• Familiar with compression utilities such as WinZip, GUI, TAR and Stuffit
• Familiar with registering, browsing and navigating database driven websites
• Able to open and edit graphics in the JPG, PNG, PSD, EPS, TIF formats for source artwork supplied by studios
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment a must.
