General Summary:
The Multimedia Assistant Editor is responsible for creating cutting-edge and powerful video content for all media platforms. The work being produced in the multimedia department is high quality and has high visibility among major global clients. Projects range from small tasks requiring immediate turnaround to large-scale support on complex work.

The Multimedia Assistant Editor is more than just a typical Assistant Editor, since he or she is involved with nearly every facet of the production workflow. On any given day, the Multimedia Assistant Editor could be editing, creating motion graphics, or helping to shoot in-house productions. He or she must have a discerning eye for creativity and design, good people skills, a calm demeanor, and a facility for working with both internal and external clients.

Day to Day:
• Editorial on everything from mood videos and animatics to web spots.
• Basic motion graphics.
• Perform all basic post-production tasks (compression, transcoding, prepping files, etc.) and work on all apps within the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder and Photoshop).
• Work in DaVinci Resolve for color correction and dailies creation (expert-level color correction skills not a requirement, but some familiarity with the software will be necessary).
• Partner closely with Director of Multimedia and larger TOM team in LA for scoping, budgeting and workload planning for projects occurring in Dallas.
• Partner closely with Director of Multimedia and larger TOM team in LA for all technical aspects of the Dallas TOM offering as well as the exchange of projects/media between the two offices.
• May oversee shoots happening in the Dallas area and perform various duties on small-scale shoots (everything from acting as the“B” camera operator to directing).
• Partner with the larger team in Dallas – particularly the Producers and Creatives – to ensure that the Dallas TOM offering is optimized for day-to-day workflow and providing the services the agency needs.
• Help manage any freelancers brought into the Dallas office working in TOM.
• In charge of working with the larger team in LA to get all billing done on projects happening in Dallas.

This position requires 2+ years of experience at a leading Advertising Agency, Post Facility, Network or similar.

Bachelor’s degree in film or related field or equivalent training.

Excellent technology/software skills. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Is an expert in written and verbal communications. Is team-oriented and a creative problem solver. Fosters a positive group culture. Works directly with team members to ensure that the overall goals of Team One are understood. Working Conditions:
This position is based in Dallas, Texas. Team One is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. All employees are expected to support Team One’s commitment to providing a respectful and safe workplace. There may be times when lifting up to 25 lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/or weekend work, may be required. There may be occasion to travel. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and acceptable manner during working hours and at all work-related events, including but not limited to, holiday parties, off-sites, client meetings/events, shoot locations, etc.
