Job Description
Remote Solutions are a specialist audio visual production company. We are looking for an experienced AV Producer to join our small conference production team, based at our South East London offices.
We provide full AV production services for small to medium sized events mostly within the corporate industry, with a strong focus on the pharmaceutical sector. We work closely with end clients, conference organisers and venues to ensure each event is a huge success. Our client focused representatives are dedicated, committed and believe in doing the very best job possible. The work is varied, interesting and involves a lot of international travel, mainly in the EU.
We are looking for an experienced Event Production Manager who is energetic and able to work flexible and unsociable hours to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong client focus with experience of producing corporate events to a high standard and a strong understanding of all the technical aspects involved. An experience of Pharmaceutical events would be a real advantage. You will need to be positive, enthusiastic, an excellent communicator and have a ‘solutions over problems’ attitude. You need to be able to focus on the small details, and not be daunted by tight timelines and budgets. We are looking for someone who is highly organised and a creative thinker with the ability to multi task whilst fully engaging with our clients. An element of the job will be office based and as such will require commuting to our premises in South East London. A majority of the events we support are in Europe, so you will be required to travel internationally including driving across the EU.

Your skills, experience and responsibilities
Leadership You will be required to manage client expectations, the technical solutions and the teams of technicians.
Communication You will communicate with the client and team regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
Budget Management Create and manage project budgets, client expectations, vendor negotiations and reconciliation.
Production Management Understand the brief, scope of the project and allocate the necessary resources within budget. Excellent knowledge and experience across all areas of production, including Sets, Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging and IT (Apps and integrated systems). Competent use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Standard Operating Procedures Implementation and strict adherence to our Standard Operating Procedures regarding risk assessment, health and safety and compliance processes.
Attention to detail The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
A strong knowledge of medical conference content would be advantageous.
A valid, clean driving licence will also be required.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience
