Job Description
Malick Media is a reputable media studio located in Langley, British Columbia that partners with the film and broadcast industry for television, movies, live-streaming events, and production. The company was founded by Faisal and Sabina Malick.

This role of Executive Director of Communications & Marketing is to be a brand champion, communications specialist, and marketing guru for the Malicks, and each expression of the Malick Media Group of Companies both for-profit and non-profit worlds. As a chief communications and marketing strategist, the Executive Director of Communications & Marketing will provide strategic oversight for communications, media, branding, and marketing for all Malick Media clients. The successful candidate will oversee and implement brand messaging and ensure the accuracy of its delivery by producing each element (either print, electronic, or online) with creativity and consistency.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
  • Media experience in a production/TV environment—possibly as a producer, writer, etc.
  • A creative eye for design, brand, marketing, and broadcast or film sets.
  • Understanding on how to create effective fundraising campaigns in a fresh-new cutting edge way for Malick Media’s work in the non-profit world.
  • Be a social media genius for marketing and communications.
  • An exceptional content writer and communications specialist with some understanding of the book publishing industry, while writing should be a gift that has developed.
  • Know the in & outs of getting content produced via producers bidding in the international online market to create segments (and such) very cost efficiently.
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.
  • It is highly desired that the candidate have a good understanding and familiarity with the Bible.
  • Possess proven experience in team building, creative thinking, systems management, and creative problem solving.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field from a four-year college or university is required for this position, although a Master’s degree is preferred.
