Video / Event Producer

Total Media Group (http://www.totalmediagroup.com) located in South San Francisco, CA is looking for a video and event producer.

Total Media Group is located in South San Francisco. The company produces media for biotech, medical, IT and entertainment industries as well as corporate events in all major U.S. cities and beyond.

Requirements:
* A minimum of five years of event and video producer experience or equivalent
* Excellent client communication and organizational skills
* Strong Video Production and post production experience. (Please provide portfolio samples)
* Understanding of post production process and software for graphics and editing.
* Demonstrated understanding in corporate media production.
* Understanding of A/V equipment and event staging
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, proposals, and actualizing budgets
* Strong knowledge of Excel
* Supervision of video editing sessions at our SSF studios
* Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
* Willingness to experiment with outside-the-box creative solutions
* Design and aesthetic sensibility to manage design and creative projects from concept to completion
* Attention to detail and schedules
* Must be proactive, reliable and a good team player
* This is a local position in South San Francisco, California

Responsibilities:
* Develop production teams as needed
* Communicate with clients on schedules and projects
* Search and negotiate with A/V rental houses and set/scenic design companies
* Develop and manage project budgets including set, scenic, AV staging and video
* Perform location scouts and work on logistics with hotels and convention centers
* Produce and supervise video production and post
* Supervise production, video and audio/visual personnel during pre-production and on-site
* Deliver projects on time and on budget
* Travel may be required
