JOB TITLE: ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
POSITION REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President/Client Services
LOCATION: Bloomington, IN
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To maximize strategies and relationships for designated accounts through regular client communication, oversight of day-to-day project execution, and guidance of Account Managers. Consults with EVP/Client Services on growth and profitability of designated accounts and shares accountability for project outcomes. This position works closely with Content Strategists and Brand Creative Directors regarding our clients’ relationship with the end consumer, creative resource needs, project goals and execution.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

• Lead by example (attitude, effort, adherence to policy)
• Build and nurture productive business relationships and ensure accountable client satisfaction
• Confer with client, utilizing product knowledge and research to guide marketing goals and expand budget opportunities
• Support, coach, manage and professionally develop Account Managers
• Confer with EVP/Client Services, Content Strategists and Brand Creative Directors to develop campaign strategy, select media to be used, determine timing and placement of materials, and estimate costs
• Support EVP/Client Services in submitting campaign proposals, suggested concepts, and estimated budgets for client approval
• Keep record of signed proposals and estimates
• Monitor, forecast and report on the progress of designated client accounts
• Travel as necessary to meet client and prospect needs
OTHER DUTIES
• Implement campaign by authorizing contracts and purchase orders.
• Work with Media Planner/Buyers to secure strong media placement and acceptable rates
• Maintain confidentiality while working closely with client regarding all aspects of campaign
• Use market research information to evaluate, adjust and redirect campaigns
• Review and approve designated client account billing
• Coordinate booth preparation and attend client-related trade shows as necessary
• Identify and develop new revenue stream opportunities
• Develop and begin to pitch new-business presentations
• Other duties that may be assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The following are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
• Expert in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• 5-8 years previous marketing experience leading and managing client relationships
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Effective presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to lead projects and other team members
