Award-winning Political Media Firm Seeks Experienced, Cutting-Edge Editor for TV and Web Video Projects

We seek a dedicated editor to produce media that helps us break the mold of stodgy, humdrum political ads. We are exploring both in-house and contract hire options.

CRAFT | Media/Digital is a fast-paced professional environment that necessitates personal motivation, accountability, long hours and hard work. Successful candidates will demonstrate bold creative in TV/web video, a proven ability to work independently on tight timelines, sound creative judgment and a positive attitude.

CRAFT | Media/Digital is a Republican political media firm based in Washington, DC. Candidates must be comfortable working on media that addresses a range of political issues for Republican candidates and organizations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

◦ Motion graphics, video and audio editing capabilities (please provide links, examples)
◦ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, AE)
◦ Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Motion
◦ Ability to edit quickly and incorporate edits efficiently and fast
◦ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, sometimes with little warning
◦ Ability to work late nights/weekends
◦ Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment, exercising sound creative judgment
◦ Highly responsive to email and phone communication
◦ Commitment to nuance and attention to detail
◦ Industry awareness is a plus, but not required.
